Thank you all Faculty, Delegates and Colleagues as well as the Industry. We had a wonderful ASSICON 2019.

Dr. Subir N. Jhaveri,

Organising Secretary,

On behalf of the Spine Association of Gujarat.

Dear Faculty, Colleagues, Friends & Delegates,

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for having spared time from your busy schedules and joining us at the ASSICON 2019 at Ahmedabad.

Our scientific committee had done a wonderful job and we had a very meticulously planned scientific programme. Many controversies dogging the spine world were brought to the forum, and all the speakers including the chairpersons, panelists as well as the delegates brought out the best, by interacting at the highest level. The case presentations brought out the controversial issues, that otherwise create dilemmas in day to day clinical practice. The national and International faculty also raised the scientific bar to the highest level through their presentations and deliberations. The delegates, as well as the faculty, were highly appreciative of the scientific content of the conference, which was quite evident by the halls running at full capacity, even till the end of the day. Prizes were given for the best paper and E-poster presentations, which were judged very meticulously, by our judges, and all the papers were of the highest quality, more so in the VTI Gold Medal session.

The faculty, delegates as well as the spouses enjoyed the Heritage Walk through the city, along with the trips to the Gandhi Ashram. The Food Committee dished out the best of cuisines on each and every day, with the Chefs at Hyatt as well as the GMDC grounds, having done a tremendous job. The musical evening along with the traditional Garba dance had one and all dancing to the tunes.

The inspirational lecture by Shri Gyanvatsal Swamiji enthralled everyone present, and for those who missed out the discourse, we have uploaded the entire unedited video on our website.

All the members of our Executive Committee stood shoulder to shoulder, and worked very hard to make ASSICON 2019, a tremendous success.

I am sure, the ASSICON 2019, at Ahmedabad will remain in your memories for a long time to come.

Till we meet again.

India’s First world Heritage City

The 606 year old walled city of Ahmedabad, which was founded by Emperor Ahmed Shah, has become India’s first World Heritage City in 2017.

Straddling the Sabarmati river, this prosperous city of six million is a delight for archeologists, anthropologists, architects, historians, sociologists, traders, bargain hunders, and plain tourists.
